Dense Indonesian hardwood charcoal, carbonized to high fixed carbon

Why Indonesian hardwood

Indonesia's tropical hardwoods are among the densest in the world. Density is destiny in charcoal: denser wood means higher fixed carbon, longer burning time, and less ash left behind. We select mature hardwood log by log before it ever reaches the kiln, because the burn a customer feels three months from now is decided at that first cut.

Traditional carbonization, controlled results

Our kilns follow carbonization techniques refined over generations, with slow temperature curves that preserve the wood's structure. The kiln master reads smoke colour hour by hour to steer each burn. The result is charcoal that lights cleanly, holds steady heat, and produces minimal smoke, batch after batch.

Export specifications

Available in lump, sized, and cut formats with moisture, fixed carbon, and ash specifications documented per shipment. Packed in export cartons or private-label retail packaging, loaded factory-direct into containers so nothing is lost between the kiln and your port.

Who buys it

Importers and distributors who resell on consistency, restaurant groups that need a fuel they can standardize on, and brands running OEM or private-label programs. What they share is a refusal to gamble on the next container burning differently from the last.

Common questions

What is the difference between hardwood charcoal and briquettes?
Hardwood charcoal is pure carbonized wood with nothing added. Briquettes are compressed charcoal dust plus binders and fillers. Hardwood lump lights faster, burns hotter and cleaner, and leaves far less ash.
What is the fixed carbon content?
Our hardwood charcoal is graded high in fixed carbon, and every shipment ships with its own moisture, fixed carbon, and ash documentation so you know the numbers before the container arrives.
Do you supply in bulk and private label?
Yes. We supply bulk export cartons and run OEM and private-label programs with your packaging and specification. Pilot container volumes are available before you scale.
Which wood species do you use?
Mature dense tropical hardwood, selected log by log. Density is what delivers the high carbon and long burn, so selection happens before carbonization, not after.
